Have the exercises you've learned in the past been boring, stupid and painful?
The exercise program developed by Bonnie Prudden is fun, creative, and gives
a complete, well-rounded workout.

Here are the elements of a one hour fitness class taught by a
Certified Bonnie Prudden Exercise Therapist:

Warmups - essential first part of any workout, putting each joint through full range of
motion, increasing circulation, warming the muscles to avoid injury.

Equipment - we use simple, inexpensive equipment such as frisbees, paddles, wands,
and light hand weights for more fun exercises to music.

Floor Exercises - on hands and knees, sitting, prone and supine, the body is exercised
in all directions.

Floor Progressions - walking forward, backward, sideways, barefoot, walking in different
rhythms and combinations of directions, exercising wide range of muscles.

Endurance - many different exercises to music (rather than just running in place).

Stretching - done near the end of the one-hour class, when the muscles are warm.

Cool Down and Relaxation - slow, rhythmic exercise; peaceful relaxation on the floor.
